6 standard formulas and numerous special formulas have been created by Briancon production in 1993 for industry : colour, grip, life expectancy, swelling additive.

The use of fillers in powder is the only way to make repairs indoors, to fill real holes in the wood.


Advantages of our mastic in powder
Easy to prepare : 3 parts powder for one of water
Can be used until 48 hours
Adhesion : Until 15kgf/cm² : equivalent to polyester mastics
Easy to sand : they are not abrasive and do not filth the sanding strips.
Quality of repair : stiff , easy to sand
Perfect stain recovery : mastic in powder has a close porosity to those of the wood so that repairs are always invisible even after varnish.
Ecology : mastics in powder are prepared in water respect environment. They are not classified as dangerous products. They don't need any protection and can be used with all sorts of wood, waxes, oils...

 

For distribution we have 2 standard formulas.

WOOD MASTIC® P 340, slow formula : pot-life 48h, first sanding after 6 hours.

WOOD MASTIC® Bi,  quick formula : pot-live 40mn, first sanding from 2 hours
