In 1855, Briançon was born on the banks of the agouti, in Aveyron, a country of tanneries.
The factory produces glues and gelatins for artisans finishers of textile and leather.
Over water, Briançon grows, develops and completes its range by two premier brands:
* The wood pulp Wood Putty ®, founded in 1931 on the Cote d'Azur
* Carbamex ® wax master cabinetmakers, founded in 1928 on the shores of Lake Geneva.
Both brands have become references unmatched in the eyes of professionals.
Fervent defender of nature, it is logical that Briancon in 1992 invented the first dual-component sealant for wood, solvent-free, derived from natural products. Fads, both in France and Export (particularly in Northern Europe) is immediate. Briançon now exports in forty countries.
